Blue Line Changes - July 5-26, 2025

Starting July 5, 2025, the following Blue Line stations will temporarily close:

Free parking will be available at Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn St Stations from July 5-26, 2025.

Additionally, Blue Line service will terminate at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport station for approximately three weeks. Customers will need to transfer to the Yellow Line to travel to Potomac Yard, Braddock Road and King St-Old Town stations.

Blue Line service will be restored at Potomac Yard, Braddock Road, King St-Old Town, Van Dorn St, and Franconia-Springfield stations on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Free shuttle buses replace trains at Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn St stations during the entire closure. Review the Shuttle Bus and Travel Alternatives below.

Yellow Line Changes - July 12-13 and 19-20, 2025

For two weekends, July 12 and 13 and July 19 and 20, 2025, the Yellow Line will single-track between Huntington and Braddock Rd stations. Huntington, Eisenhower Ave, and King St-Old Town stations will remain open.

Blue Line will operate from National Airport to Downtown Largo with trains every 10 minutes during peak, 12 minutes during off-peak, and 15 minutes during late night.

July 12-13 and 19-20, Yellow Line service will single-track between Huntington to Braddock Rd. Yellow Line trains will operate every 18 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square-Convention Center, and Blue Line trains will operate every 12 minutes from National Airport to Downtown Largo.
