Temporary Detour: The Sweet Mile Race on February 7

Saturday, February 7 | 7:00am – 11:00am 

Route Affected: F23 

On Saturday, February 7, from 7am until 11am, buses will detour because of the Sweet Mile Race. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closures: 

• University Dr btwn Sager Ave and Armstrong St 

• Armstrong St btwn Chain Bridge Rd and George Mason Blvd 

• George Mason Blvd btwn Armstrong St and School St 

The following route will detour:  

F23 Little River Tpk – George Mason eastbound towards King St – Old Town 

• Buses begin detouring on Chain Bridge Rd at Armstrong St, resuming regular route on Main St at East St.  

F23 Little River Tpk – George Mason westbound towards George Mason 

• Buses begin detouring on North St at University Dr, resuming regular route on University Dr at George Mason Blvd.
