Starting December 14, 2025: During the late-night route extension to DC, at L’Enfant Plaza Station, buses begin and end at westbound D St + 6 St SW, stop 1003599.
The A40 operates between Crystal City Station and Skyline Towers, providing service to Crossroads Place Shopping Center, Columbia Pike Plaza, Barcroft Shopping Center, and Pentagon City Station. Trips between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. operate between Skyline City and L'Enfant Plaza Station.
