Permanent Metrobus Boarding Relocations for A25, A28, F23, and F24 Buses Beginning Nov. 2, 2025

Beginning Nov. 2, 2025, several Metrobus stops at the former Landmark Mall site in Alexandria will be permanently relocated to a new transit area with six bus bays on Hecht Avenue (a newly created street on the former Landmark Mall site) as part of a redevelopment project sponsored by the City of Alexandria and the Alexandria Transit Company (DASH). The site will be known as West Alexandria Transit Center.

- A25: Bus Bay F
- A28: Bus Bay A
- A29 (a new route beginning Dec. 15, 2025): Bus Bays C and D
- F23: Bus Bays B and E
- F24: Bus Bays B and E
About the Project
The City of Alexandria’s West Alexandria Transit Center will be integrated into the redevelopment of the former Landmark Mall site, now known as West End Alexandria, a mixed-use development including retail, multi-family, townhomes, medical office and the new INOVA hospital campus.
