North Bethesda Joint Development Solicitation

Metro is seeking a development team through this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") to prepare and implement a Development Plan for Metro-owned land adjacent to the North Bethesda Metrorail station ("North Bethesda") in Montgomery County, Maryland. The site is a 13.9-acre assemblage east of Rockville Pike, west of Nebel Street, and between Old Georgetown Road and Marinelli Road, which includes 1.3 acres of air rights above the rail tracks.

Metro, in collaboration with its jurisdictional partner, Montgomery County, seeks to create a walkable, mixed-use, live-work-learn-play transit-oriented development, anchored by a next-generation platform for life sciences, health and related innovation technology uses.
